Rihanna and Drake are dating again

Rumour has it Rihanna and Drake are dating again.

According to People magazine, the ‘One Dance’ singer dropped in on Rihanna’s concert in Manchester last Wednesday where the duo performed their hit song, ‘Work’, together.

Rihanna then posted a video on Instagram later that night that captured one of the moments when the pair gyrated their hips together and sang.

But the video that got people talking most was one a fan posted of Drake exclaiming during the concert: “Shout out to the most beautiful, talented woman I’ve ever seen.”

“She goes by the name of Rihanna…I’m getting my heart broken.”

If that wasn’t enough to guarantee that the R&B singers are back together, an insider told E! News: “Drake still loves her and never stopped. Rihanna is the one that’s been not wanting to settle down in the past.”

“They are having fun spending time with each other. Their music together got them close again.”

And after pictures of them partying for four nights in London surfaced online, it’s safe to say the two are definitely spending more time together and having fun.

According to The Sun, the lovebirds were even seen celebrating together at X Factor judge, Nicole Sherzinger’s 38th birthday party while in London.

And the singer and rapper were said to have only left the party at 6am.

Fans of the duo’s work and chemistry took to Twitter to swoon over the possibility of the singers dating again after their break-up at some point in 2010.

Alexandra Canal accident: A breakdown of key findings, according to investigator

SINGAPORE – Earlier this year, two bodies were pulled out of Alexandra Canal after a Mercedes-Benz plunged into it.

The two passengers in the car were a mother and daughter pair, Madam Yep Lay Choo, 51, and Kimberly Poon, 22, who were pronounced dead when their bodies were retrieved from the water. Madam Yep was at the steering wheel when the accident occurred, while her daughter was in the front passenger seat.

An inquiry into their deaths began on Monday (July 4) and here are the key findings that were brought up in the Coroner’s Court by Investigating Officer (IO) Jegadeeswaran, as reported by local media.

Key findings:

– Upon exiting the carpark of Valley Point Shopping Centre, the Poons’ car did not seem to have braked as it went over the final hump leading out of the mall’s basement carpark.

– From the exit of the carpark until it hit the water, CCTV footage showed the car covered 14.6 metres in three seconds.

– The car shot out instead of turning right onto the road, hitting a kerb before it swerved left and collided with the canal’s railing.

– Based on footage, Mdm Yep did not apply the brakes until the car had crashed into the railing.

– The impact dislodged the railing and sent the car plunging into the 3 metre-deep canal.

– Mechanical inspection of the vehicle showed that damages had been caused by the impact during the accident.

– No other mechanical defect was found on the vehicle that could have led to the incident.

– Autopsies concluded both women drowned. They both suffered rib fractures from the impact of the crash.

State Coroner Marvin Bay will deliver his findings next Monday, reported Channel NewsAsia

IO Jegadeeswaran said that the police do not suspect foul play and that the accident was likely caused by human error.

“It was possible that Madam Yep was distracted upon leaving the carpark, thus causing the vehicle to shoot straight ahead instead of realising that a turn was required,” IO Jegadeeswaran was reported as saying in The Straits Times

World's first futuristic straddling bus model unveiled

A 2-metre high bus that allows cars to pass under it while transporting commuters is fast becoming a reality, as China unveiled a completed life-sized model on Sunday.

The bodywork of the world’s first “straddling bus” was unveiled in Juangsu, China, by inventor and chief engineer Song Youzhou.

Known as the Transit Explore Bus, the track-based vehicle is designed to be high enough to let cars pass under it.

The design concept was first unveiled at the 19th International High-Tech Expo in Beijing in May and the bodywork for the bus has since been completed. According to a previous interview with Mr Song, this test bus is planned to be put on track in Qinhuangdao, a port city in north-eastern Hebei province.

The vehicle, which holds up to 1,400 passengers and runs 2.1-metres above ground, would span two traffic lanes, running along special tracks. It will run on electricity, cutting fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

Mr Song has reportedly been working on this concept for at least six years. He had unveiled a similar model in 2010, but the project was never realised.

The recent unveiling of the life-sized model is a step closer to fulfiling Mr Song’s dreams, and if the tests are successful, it could well help to ease traffic congestion and reduce air pollution in China.
