Former Wham Singer George Michael Has Died Aged 53

Michael started his career in the 1980s and later continued as a soloist.

The Thames Valley police said the South Central ambulance service was at 13:42 a Colombian property in Göring, Oxford.

The BBC reported that the police said there were no suspicious circumstances.

Michael, born in Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou, sold more than 100 million albums. He started his career with Wham! With the band’s first album Fantastic Arrival No1 in 1983 and 1987 Michael released his first solo album Faith.

“We are very sad that we can confirm that our beloved son, brother and friend George spent the rest of their lives at home safely during the Christmas season,” the star’s spokesperson said in a statement.

“The family will ask their privacy to be respected in this difficult and emotional time, and at this stage there is no further comment.
