A dust screen measuring 23-meters in height and 2,900-meters in length is being built at Qinhuangdao Port in North China’s Hebei province on Dec 27, 2016.

The dust screen will connect with the 5,000-meter-long dust screen already in place to surround a coal and mineral ore yard at the port.

When finished, the dust screen at Qinhuangdao Port, along with the dust screen at Caofeidian Port in Tangshan, Hebei province, and the dust screen at Huanghua Port in Cangzhou, Hebei province, will form a dust screen group totaling 17 kilometers, becoming the world’s longest of its kind.
