SINGAPORE: It’s starting to look at lot like Christmas at Universal Studios Singapore (USS) at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS).
The centrepiece of this year’s celebration is the world’s largest light bulb display in an indoor venue, announced RWS in a press release on Thursday (Nov 17). A total of 824,961 light bulbs, what was it took to set the Guinness World Record, which was presented to USS on Thursday.
It took two months to complete the dazzling display, which is called Universal Journey.

The display features eight thematic zones, such as an enchanted pine forest and a section that’s decorated with larger-than-life Christmas presents. Visitors will be taken on “an adventure through the universe, traversing wormholes and time warp tunnels to other worldly locations and eventually arriving on Earth”, said RWS.

This is part of RWS’ annual event called Santa’s All-Star Christmas. It will be held from Dec 1 to Jan 2.
The park is also promising a visual spectacle of fireworks, snowfall and musical performances.
