Don Quixote tells the story of Kitri, the beautiful daughter of Lorenzo the innkeeper, in love with a poor young barber, Basilio. And despite Kitri’s father every intention to marry her to the wealthy fop, Gamache, the young lovers ran away and en route to escape they met Don Quixote and his companion, Sancho Panza. With a series of chivalrous acts, whimsical twists, and comically feigned suicide, the couple finally celebrate their marriage with a grand pas de deux.
