Chinese dailies reported that an old scandal involving a top celebrity patronising prostitutes had resurfaced in China.
For the past four years, the identity of the superstar remained unknown although fingers had pointed of late to Mandopop singer Wang Leehom.
Recently, a Chinese entertainment portal interviewed an “insider” who accused Wang of bringing different women back to his home every night.
The insider claimed that previous allegations about the singer being gay were just decoys to cover up his private life.
Wang had denied his involvement in the scandal.
In November 2012, a South Korean call girl was photographed visiting a high-end apartment in Taiwan where a popular star lived.
She later told Taiwanese media that she had spent a night there with “a tall guy”.
At that time, five artistes – Wang, Vanness Wu, Godfrey Gao, Aarif Lee and singer Jolin Tsai’s lover Vivian Dawson – were suspected but none could be confirmed to be the man in question.
