Visitors are swarming to appreciate a giant Bagua, an eight-sided diagram representing an ancient Chinese energy map, made up of plants and flowers in a village of southwest China’s Guizhou Province.
The Bagua, composed of 81 plants including sorghums, rapeseed flowers, peach trees and plum trees can be seen at Bagua Park of Pipa Village.
“It is really a nice place for photographs and taking a relaxed vacation. The scene is beautiful and the air is fresh,” said Yang Yanyan, tourist.
Bagua Park is about 20 hectares and took about eight months to build. The Bagua is used in Taoist cosmology to represent the fundamental principles of reality, seen as a range of eight interrelated concepts.
