We’ve had Mayweather vs Pacquiao. We’ve had Lee vs Yamaguchi. We’ve even seen cobra vs python.
But this triple threat battle may just be the most epic of them all, featuring a snake, a cat and a toad.
A video circulating online shows the scrap between the three creatures, with one twist: the snake was fighting from inside the mouth of the toad!
The clip starts with the cat curiously approaching the snake, that is already being half-eaten by a toad. It then tentatively reaches out one of its legs and bats the snake on the head, prompting excited cries from onlookers.
But despite being at a two-on-one disadvantage, the feisty serpent refuses to give up, hissing and lunging at the black-and-white feline.
That prompts the cat to retreat, and the two creatures then continue to circle each other and engage in a staredown. The cat continues to try and stroke the top of the snake’s head, though the snake maintains its defensive position and prevents the cat from getting too close.
All the while, the toad bides its time, and towards the end of the video forces another chunk of the snake into its large mouth.
According to online reports, the one-and-a-half minute appears to have been filmed in Thailand. It is not known whether the cat was a stray or a pet.
Since it was posted onto video sharing site Liveleak on Sunday, it has been viewed over 100,000 times.
