These stomach churning feats at Pakistan's 'stunt school' will make you squirm

Stunt master Ghulam Farooq was busy paving the way for the next generation of daredevil stunt artists on Sunday, as he taught children stunt performance tricks in the remote village of Mastung in Balochistan province.

Students from Farooq’s private academy of stunt performance braved nail-biting feats as their bodies withstood beds of nails, barbed wire, and insane feats of stretching.

Farooq also tempted fate, when he allowed a ragged blade to whir mere millimetres from his flesh.

“I used to watch stunts at Discovery and National Geographic, I wished to do these kind of stunts but you have seen what I have done, people on Discovery can’t do that,” said Farooq.

Farooq explained the school’s main concern was funding and resources for its survival. He said, “If the government supports and promotes us, we can do high level events.”
