Pop star Taylor Swift and her ex-boyfriend Scottish DJ Calvin Harris may have split amicably, but it seems both parties now want the world to forget they were ever an item, by deleting traces of their 15-month relationship from their social media accounts.
This comes shortly after photos of Swift kissing British actor Tom Hiddleston were splashed all across the World Wide Web on Thursday (June 17).
While the singer has yet to comment, netizens were sent into a frenzy over the photos, especially since Swift and Harris had announced the end to their relationship just over two weeks ago.
Many of their fans had expressed sadness when the split was announced.
In a tweet, Harris had said: “The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect”.
However, he has since deleted that tweet, along with the Instagram photos of their romance. Swift has also done the same.
Oh, and he also took the extra step of unfollowing the singer on Twitter.
According to Daily Mail, when Harris was approached by paparazzi, he smiled and said: “It’s all good, she’s doing her thing, she’s doing her thing, dude”.
But it seems he wasn’t really all cool with news of Swift and Hiddleston making out in public.
On Thursday, he wrote a cryptic message on Twitter saying: “Oh boy, it’s about to go down”. That tweet, however, has also been deleted.
Unfortunately for both Swift and Harris though, fans seem to have kept a detailed record of all the times Talvin flaunted their romance online. The Internet, as they say, never forgets.
