Nanyang Siang Pau reported that a four-year-old boy in Tainan, Taiwan, drove his electric toy car out to buy breakfast when his parents were asleep.
On Tuesday morning, the boy was spotted driving his BMW ride-on on public roads. He was stopped by a passer-by who called the police.
Police said the boy had apparently taken some money from his piggy bank and wanted to drive to a fast food restaurant to buy French fries.
His parents were slapped with a NT$1,200 (S$54) fine for allowing the kid to drive an electric car on the road.
