Those who have successfully balloted for tickets to the National Day Parade 2016 and two NDP previews may collect their tickets from Friday (June 10).
Successful applicants who have been notified can collect the tickets at Kallang Wave Mall Atrium between 10am and 9pm daily from June 10 to 19, the NDP executive committee announced in a statement on Wednesday (June 8).
During ticket collection, they must produce their NRIC or original photo identification cards, such as student pass or driver’s licence, for verification.
Those unable to collect the tickets in person may authorise a representative to do so on their behalf. The person should bring along his/her original photo identification card, a photocopy of the successful applicant’s photo identification card (front & back), and a signed copy of the Letter of Authorisation (available on the NDP website).
The NDP executive committee reiterated that the sale of tickets is prohibited, and added that failure to collect tickets by June 19 will result in forfeiture.
In conjunction with the collection of NDP 2016 tickets, the National Heritage Board will launch a travelling exhibition titled “50 Years of National Day Parades”. It will be first put up at Kallang Wave Mall from June 10 to 19 before travelling to various public locations till August 9.
This year’s celebrations marks the NDP’s return to the National Stadium after 10 years, as it was previously held at Marina Bay’s floating platform and at the Padang.
