Singaporean actor Aaron Aziz given Datuk honours

Singaporean actor Aaron Aziz has been honoured with the honorary Datuk title by the Pahang royal family last Saturday (Dec 16) for his contributions to the Malay entertainment industry.

The 41-year-old was among six recipients who were conferred the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) by the Crown Prince Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah at a royal ceremony held at the Abu Bakar Palace. 

Aaron wore a black baju kurung, complete with a headdress and keris (ceremonial dagger). 

Aaron is currently based in Malaysia. He has appeared in blockbusters such as KL Gangster and Ombak Rindu, and will be appearing in his first Kollywood film Tik Tik Tik next year.
