Fresh off a start turn on China’s blockbuster reality show Sing! China, Singaporean pop superstar Nathan Hartono will be singing live at ONE: DEFENDING HONOR, which takes place on 11 November at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Hartono will be performing twice on the night — the first being a showcase of his vocal talents at 7:30pm, and the second a rendition of the Singapore National Anthem at 10pm. The national anthem will kick off Mediacorp’s inaugural live broadcast of a ONE Championship event on OktoSports.

Victor Cui, CEO of ONE Championship, stated: “Singapore just got a dose of star power as pop sensation Nathan Hartono is set to perform at Asia’s biggest fight night this Friday.

“Nathan is a tremendous Singaporean talent and we are happy to have him become part of this amazing event.”

25-year-old Nathan Hartono is an actor and singer who was born and raised in Singapore. He made his singing debut after winning the Teenage Icon competition back in 2005.

A year later, he released his debut album, LET ME SING! Life, Love and All That Jazz. This year he became the first runner-up in the first season of Sing! China. Just recently, Hartono also tried his hand at acting, starring in his first ever television series, Halfworlds.

ONE: DEFENDING HONOR is headlined by two world championship title fights. ONE Lightweight World Champion and MMA legend Shinya Aoki will defend his title against Filipino sports icon Eduard Folayang, while ONE Featherweight World Champion Marat Gafurov takes on former champion Narantungalag Jadambaa in a rematch of their epic November 2015 title bout .
