The rumours of Stefanie Sun’s pregnancy turned out to be true after all.
“Yes, I’m as fat as two people now,” the Singapore singer quipped in an Instagram post on Thursday (Jan 25), confirming that she’s expecting her second child.
The 39-year-old first roused suspicion when she halted an autograph session in Taiwan last November but she denied that she was pregnant.
However, Sun’s growing baby bump did not escape the attention of some sharp-eyed fans during promotional activities for her new album, A Dancing Van Gogh.
Another telltale sign were photos of the singer being carefully supported by two assistants during her public appearances last month.
According to Lianhe Zaobao, the singer found out that she was pregnant when she felt unwell during another publicity event, and decided to announce the good news after her first trimester.
Sun has a five-year-old son with husband Nadim Van Der Ros whom she married in 2011.
