SINGAPORE – A Singapore fighter dubbed “The Terminator” has won the Johor Open Muay Thai Championships after defeating opponent Aiman ‘The Iron Man’ from Malaysia on Saturday (Oct 8).

Terrence Teo described the match at Educity Sport Complex Nusajaya as “one of the most challenging fights in my career”.

“None of us were worried for Terrence as we knew he would give his all. He trains very hard and I’m sure he will use this opportunity to spur him on to fight even harder as a professional fighter for more title belts on the international stage,” said Arvind Lalwani, head coach and founder of Juggernaut Fight Club and President of the Singapore Fighting Championship.

Part of Teo’s strategy was to go after the legs of Aiman, who has had over a 100 fights and 10 title belts in his career.

After successfully weakening his opponent’s legs with targeted low kicks, Teo followed with a barrage of punches to his face and eventually won the match.
