British rock band Queen and American singer Adam Lambert will perform at the 2016 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix this September, organisers announced on Monday (June 6).
The entertainment lineup for the event from Sept 16-18 also features pop singer Kylie Minogue, indie band Bastille, a cappella group Pentatonix, as well as disco kings KC and the Sunshine Band.
At Padang Stage of the Marina Bay Street Circuit, fans can catch Kylie Minogue and Queen + Adam Lambert after the last track activities on Sept 16 and 17 respectively. The final day’s headline act will be announced at a later date.
This year, the Padang stage will be relocated between Padang Grandstand A and Grandstand B to allow ticketholders to enjoy a more up-close experience.
Singapore GP
The three-day event will offer more food and beverage options with the new Portside Hawkers situated beside the Singapore Recreation Club, as well as the Dockside Hawkers located beside the Singapore Cricket Club.
