SINGAPORE – The Police are investigating two 15-year-old suspects who are believed to be involved in a case of vandalism at Block 9, Marsiling Drive.
The identities of the suspects were established after “extensive ground enquiries and protracted investigations”, police said in a statement on Monday (July 4).
The case was reported to the police on June 14 at about 11.40am.
The 16th to 22nd floor parapet wall at Block 9, Marsiling Drive, was spray-painted with graffiti.
The walls outside the stairwell were marked with drawings of things such as a fish skeleton, a traffic light, an eye and a triangle.
Investigation against the two suspects are ongoing, police said.
The offence of vandalism can be punished by jail of up to three years, a fine up to $2,000, and caning of between three and eight strokes.
