Originally scheduled for a premiere on Star Wars Celebration 2017, which will be held between April 13 to 16, the latest trailer for “Star Wars: Battlefront II” was prematurely leaked online.

The trailer showed various tidbits that gamers can expect on the game’s release.

This includes appearances from Yoda, Darth Maul, Kylo Ren and Rey. Most notable are the hints to the single player campaign’s story, which appears to be set after the events of “Return of the Jedi”.

The Verge notes that it was not specified exactly where in the Star Wars canon the game will draw from.

At the very least, the trailer showed glimpses of what appears to be the Starkiller base and a snowy battlefield that looks like the planet Hoth.

It also showed battles raging in space between capital ships and smaller craft like X-Wings, as well as Tie Fighters.

A release date has yet to be announced but judging from the release date of the first “Star Wars: Battlefront” (November 2015), the game could be out before the premiere of the next Star Wars movie, which is “The Last Jedi”.

“The Star Wars: Battlefront” series is an online multiplayer first-person shooter game that puts players in the shoes of either rebels or imperial soldiers, on a battlefield set in the Star Wars universe.

They may also play some of the iconic characters from the Star Wars movie franchise like Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker, after picking up a special item during a match.

Musical actress Kim So-hyang has been cast in the US production of the hit Broadway musical “Sister Act,” her agency said Wednesday.

According to EA&C, Kim will play a supporting role in the Asian tour of the musical that will kick off in May. It highlighted that this marks the first time a Korean actress has been cast in the American production of the musical.

Kim, 36, said she has been looking to participate in an American production and that “Sister Act” is a huge opportunity for her.

“I wanted to try a role that is not confined to the limits of any specific race,” she said.

She will play the part of Sister Mary Robert, a quiet and timid nun who becomes inspired by the main character Delores and eventually breaks out of her shell.

The show is a musical adaptation of the hit 1992 comedy film of the same name starring Whoopi Goldberg. The plot revolves around a singer Delores who unintentionally witnesses a murder and takes refuge in a convent.

The interaction between the somewhat-vulgar Delores and nuns makes up most of the show’s — and the film’s — famed comedy.

The Asian tour of the show will start in Singapore, where it will be staged from May 9-28.

A woman whom former actor Edmund Chen thought had an affinity with his family is said to have cheated him of over $10,000, local media reported on Tuesday (April 11).

In an interview with Shin Min Daily News, the 56-year-old remarked that the incident was “more dramatic than a TV drama.”

Chen shared his story in a Facebook post on Monday (April 10), hoping that it will highlight the potential dangers of meeting people online.

In the post, he said that the woman had approached him on Facebook late last year, claiming to be a fan of his illustrative work.

She asked him to collaborate on an art project involving old carparks and the two met up to observe several carparks. But the project never came to fruition.

The woman – who is older than Chen’s children – also got along well with his family, with Xiang Yun taking her in as a goddaughter.

A month later, she offered to help Chen with the sales and marketing of the third edition of his illustrated book Little Red Dot.

After consulting his family, he agreed to hire the woman for one month.

She first asked for access to his bank records to facilitate the management of his work social media account, then she offered to handle his accounts.

Although the woman appeared to be busy working, she fell short of meeting her sales targets over the two months that they had worked together.

He ended up paying her for months in advance after noticing that she had financial trouble, Lianhe Wanbao reported.

Chen said that his friends had tried to warn him about the woman, but his family felt that she should be given a chance to repent.

Even though she has since left his company, Chen was compelled to share his story after finding out that she had approached his business contacts in his name and that she may be preying on other unsuspecting people.

He also realised that she had spun a web of lies – claiming that she lived in a luxury property in Sentosa and saying her actor ex-boyfriend had attacked Chen’s company online.

Former 2NE1 member Sandara Park cleared rumours of discord with her former bandmates in a recent media interview.

“Disbandment is, in some ways, natural for a group,” Park said.

“Even though the group has disbanded, the members are still (close) with each other. Nothing has changed. I hope the fans don’t feel sad.”

2NE1 debuted with “Fire” in 2009 and disbanded in November after a long hiatus.

YG Entertainment released the group’s farewell song, “Goodbye,” on Jan. 20.

Park recently starred in the musical film “One Step,” which was released in theatres Thursday.

Actress Lee Tae-im admitted she has been on an extreme diet since comparing her body shape with other actresses during a photo shoot.

Lee appeared on Tuesday’s episode of MBC Every1’s “Video Star” and said she has been eating only three spoons of rice a day for six months, explaining that was how she was able to maintain her slender figure.

The actress, previously known for her curves and healthy image, appeared starkly different in the programme, with a thinner figure.

Lee said she shot an ad for a water park shortly after she had gained 4 kilograms while filming “Special Investigation Units” in 2011.

“I did the photo shoot with actress Park Han-byul and Lee Chae-young, who showed up with perfectly toned bodies,” Lee said.

“I became ashamed of my body and was embarrassed to stand next to them. I got so upset that I cried,” she added.

As other guests on the programme expressed their concern that the extreme diet could harm her health, Lee said she would increase the amount of rice from three spoons to six spoons per day.

Some online commenters have noted on Lee’s recent Instagram photos that the actress’s extremely slender figure is making her look ill, rather than fit.
