New thumbprint scanner helps Singapore tighten borders: ICA

The system, BioScreen, has helped Singapore detect travellers with a record of criminal or immigration offences and turn them away from its borders, the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said in a briefing on Friday (May 27).
