SINGAPORE: A motorcyclist was killed after he was run over by a tipper truck early Thursday morning (Dec 1), the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said.
The fatal accident happened at around 6am along Woodlands Centre Road near the junction of Admiralty Road. SCDF sent a fire engine, a red rhino and an ambulance to the scene.
The man, who was in his 40s, was pinned under the truck and pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene, SCDF said.
Photos from one eyewitness showed that the accident had caused a traffic jam during morning peak hour.
