Most Filipinos trust and approve of President Rodrigo Duterte and his accomplishments in his first three months in office, according to the latest survey by Pulse Asia.
The poll, conducted from Sept. 25 to Oct. 1, said 86 per cent of respondents approved of Duterte’s work, 11 per cent was undecided, while only three per cent disapproved.
Duterte’s latest trust and approval rating was five points down from the 91 per cent he got in July. The “Ulat ng Bayan” survey had a margin of error of plus/minus three percentage points.
Pulse Asia noted that Duterte continued to enjoy big majority approval scores in all geographic areas and socio-economic classes.
Duterte earned the highest trust rating in his home region of Mindanao (96 per cent) and among Class E members (88 per cent).
The President got a score of 81 per cent in National Capital Region, 82 per cent in Balance Luzon, and 86 per cent in Visayas. He received 85 per cent from Class ABC and Total D.
A similar Social Weather Stations (SWS) earlier gave Duterte an “excellent” +76 net trust rating in his first three months. CDG
