A man was allegedly murdered in Geylang after getting into an altercation.

A contributor to citizen journalism website Stomp shared photos of a bloodied body lying by the road at about 9.30am. It is understood that the incident happened today (July 9).

The photos indicate that the incident happened at Lorong 23 Geylang, near the junction of Geylang Road.

A crowd of curious onlookers gathered near the crime scene.

According to the contributor, the victim is a Chinese man who runs the corner ‘Zi Char’ stall, and was involved in a quarrel with ‘an old chap’.
