Malay-Muslim leaders voice support to make Asatizah Recognition Scheme compulsory

Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs Yaacob Ibrahim had announced earlier this month that the scheme, which recognises qualified Islamic teachers and scholars, would be expanded to all local asatizah.
