Lures, admission discounts for Pokemon Go players at Resorts World Sentosa

SINGAPORE – From now till Aug 14, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) will be releasing “lures” for mobile game Pokemon Go.

The “lures”, which attract Pokemon to a particular location for 30 minutes each time, will be released at various timings inside Universal Studios Singapore and S.E.A. Aquarium, as well as outside the two attractions at popular Pokestops Festive Walk, the Lake of Dreams and Forum at Basement 1.

There are over 70 Pokestops – locations where players can collect virtual items – on RWS.

Those who can present screenshots of five Pokemon found anywhere on RWS within an hour can receive a 10 per cent discount off admission ticket prices to Universal Studios Singapore and S.E.A. Aquarium.

Players can also redeem a free soft drink with a minimum spending of $5 at selected food carts within the two attractions.

According to RWS, rare Pokemon such as Electabuzz, Ponyta and Magneton have been spotted at around the integrated resort.
