SINGAPORE – A man who works at Changi Airport might just be one of the luckiest Guns N’ Roses fans in Singapore right now.

That is because he managed to snap a few photos with the rock band’s famous private jet while it was parked in Changi Airport recently.

Mr Suhardi Taib, who is an employee at the Singapore Airlines Engineering Company, took the photos after the instantly-recognisable Boeing-757 touched down in Singapore on Wednesday (Feb 22) evening.

A video of the airliner landing at the airport was also posted on Facebook by concert organisers LAMC Productions. A number of contributors also sent photos of the plane at Changi Airport to citizen journalism website Stomp.

Mr Suhardi had initially shared the photos he captured on Facebook, but the post has since been taken down. He appears to be a big fan of the band, and has previously shared a number of photos of their albums on his Facebook profile.

The legendary band are in town for their first-ever concert in Singapore, which is part of their “Not In This Lifetime” world tour. Known for rock classics like Sweet Child O’ Mine, Welcome to the Jungle and November Rain, the band will perform at the Changi Exhibition Centre on Feb 25.

With close to 50,000 tickets sold, the concert is set to be of the biggest rock shows ever held in Singapore, according to LAMC.
