We’re not done envying Lin Chi-ling’s lucky staff who went on a paid overseas trip with their families, now another generous boss has emerged – Li Bingbing.

The Chinese actress is giving out red packets that contain at least 1,200 yuan (S$250) to her staff on their first day of work in the new year, Apple Daily Taiwan reported.

On Weibo, Li posted a photo on Monday (Feb 6) of herself holding up many red packets with the accompanying caption: “Ladies from Li Bingbing’s studio, hurry and report to work!”

Her call was met with a cheeky reply from her staff: “What are post-holiday blues? We love work! Working makes us happy!”

From the friendly exchange online, the 43-year-old actress appears to have a pretty good working relationship with her employees.

Just last November, Li checked out her staff’s shopping carts during the annual Chinese online shopping extravaganza Single’s Day.
