Brendan Lee.
That is the name of Myolie Wu’s newborn son.
The Hong Kong actress announced the birth of her first child on her Instagram on Oct 13.
She posted a photo and wrote: “We are complete.”
At the same time, Wu’s husband Philip Lee also posted a photo of himself cuddling his first-born son on his own Instagram page.
In his post, Lee shared that they decided to name their baby Brendan after he dreamt of the name one night.
He also explained that Brendan is an Irish name meaning ‘prince’.
Born via natural delivery, Brendan is a healthy baby boy who weighs around 7 to 8 lbs (3.6kg) and has “a good set of lungs”, added the father.
According to Lee, a UK-born businessman, Wu will be breastfeeding her baby and observing the traditional month-long postnatal confinement.
The loving couple were said to have fallen in love at first sight, and dated for a year, before deciding to get married.
Wu, 37, and Lee, 43, tied the knot in December 2015, and had a glitzy wedding that was attended by more than 100 celebrity friends.
She confirmed that she was expecting in May this year. Then in September, the pair held a baby shower to announce the gender of their baby.
The actress-turned-entrepreneur continued to work throughout her pregnancy, on fashion shows and other projects for her bridal studio Kevolie.
