Brands have already started removing ads featuring the heartthrob.

South Korean actor Kim Sun-ho’s latest drama “Hometown Chachacha” has recently received high ratings. He is plagued by rumors that he dumped his girlfriend after asking for an abortion, and he is not actually like an angel. He appeared in public.

It all started last Sunday (October 17), when a user on the South Korean online forum Nate Pann shared a lengthy post that exposed a “two-sided shameless” named “Actor K” True nature.

According to the author, who claimed to date actor K from early 2020 to about four months ago, she was pregnant with his baby in July last year.
Actor K wants her to terminate the pregnancy because he is worried that becoming a father may affect his career and may need to pay 900 million won (about 1 million Singapore dollars) in compensation to advertisers. He is also very direct about the child “unable to love”.
Then he used his “superb acting skills” to force his girlfriend to have an abortion, promising to marry her in two years and have sex with her next year.
However, when she finally went to undergo the operation, he did not accompany her-he let one of his descendants step down-and only gave her 2 million won (2,300 SGD).
He never apologized for what he let her go through, and later broke up with her over the phone.

The predecessor of actor K also trumpeted the “two-sided” antics in his work.
When he took over the TV series last year, he constantly complained that the plot was “childish” and “boring”, scolded the director and other actors, and made dull comments on the appearance and acting skills of his partner.
He thanked the director and expressed his gratitude in front of the media until the show became popular unexpectedly. However, his predecessor was not amused and called his behavior “very disgusting.”

On Monday (October 18), entertainment reporter Lee Jin-ho conducted a live broadcast on YouTube and pointed out that actor K is 35-year-old Sun-ho.

A Korean news media also used a pixelated image of a man to report the story, but sharp-eyed fans quickly recognized that it was Sun Ho’s photo, which made the star even more embarrassed.

Sun-ho’s fans immediately rallied to defend their idol, urging the public not to make reckless guesses, and threatened to take legal action against those who continue to spread slander rumors.

Unfortunately, as the brands he endorsed (including Canon and Domino Pizza) began to remove posts and advertisements related to him from the page, the damage had already been done.

Strangely, Sun-ho’s agency, SALT Entertainment, has remained silent until this morning (October 19) to make any statement.

They apologized for not speaking up earlier and the trouble caused by the “unpleasant incident”. They explained that they were still trying to verify the truth behind the anonymous post and asked the public to wait patiently because it has not been confirmed.
