There’s a new culinary star on YouTube and we think Gordon Ramsay would approve.

Meet grey-haired and toothless Mastanamma, who prepares traditional Indian dishes from scratch and cooks them on the ground in the remote village of Gudivada in Andhra Pradesh.

She doesn’t have a birth certificate to prove it, but the great-grandmother says she has lived for 106 years, Firstpost reported.

She gained fame after her grandson, Laxman Karre and his friend Srinath Reddy put up a few videos of her cookery on their YouTube channel late last year.

Called Country Foods, the channel was initially targeted at bachelors and aimed to showcase simple recipes that they could prepare, Reddy told NDTV.

And it had little traction until Mastanamma came along, amassing more than 300,000 subscribers since.

Mastanamma’s food is well known and loved in her village, where her many relatives would flock down for a bite whenever she gets behind the stove, according to NDTV.

She also shows off her creativity with one-of-a-kind dishes such as omelette in a tomato and watermelon chicken.

Her signature dish? The brinjal curry, her grandson says.
