Those living in the east of Singapore will soon get to hop on buses from new service provider Go-Ahead Singapore.
13 bus services will be launched on Sept 4, followed by 11 more routes on Sept 18.
All buses will ply various routes across the eastern part of the island, including estates such as Pasir Ris and Punggol.
Commuters can also look forward to a new bus service in 2017, Go-Ahead Singapore said.
A total of 25 bus services will operate at Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Pasir Ris, Punggol, Sengkang, Tampines and Yishun Bus Interchanges, as well as Changi Airport, Changi Village, Changi Business Park, New Bridge Road and Upper East Coast Bus Terminals.
The first 13 bus services that will run on Sept 4 are: 3, 34, 43/43M, 62, 82, 83, 84, 85, 118, 119, 136, 382, 386.
On Sept 18, bus services 2, 6, 12, 15, 17, 36, 354, 358, 359, 403, 518 will start operation.
Go-Ahead is the second bus operator to join the industry under the Government’s bus contracting model, which aims to enhance service standards in Singapore.
