Former 2NE1 member shuts down rumours of discord

Former 2NE1 member Sandara Park cleared rumours of discord with her former bandmates in a recent media interview.

“Disbandment is, in some ways, natural for a group,” Park said.

“Even though the group has disbanded, the members are still (close) with each other. Nothing has changed. I hope the fans don’t feel sad.”

2NE1 debuted with “Fire” in 2009 and disbanded in November after a long hiatus.

YG Entertainment released the group’s farewell song, “Goodbye,” on Jan. 20.

Park recently starred in the musical film “One Step,” which was released in theatres Thursday.
