SINGAPORE – Fitness First Asia and Celebrity Fitness have merged to be known as Evolution Wellness, the two health clubs said in a joint statement today (Feb 23).
“Both brands will continue to innovate and develop proprietary group fitness programmes, including the introduction of pay-as-you-go group fitness packages, as well as leveraging technology for an enhanced member experience and convenience,” the statement said.
Currently, both clubs have a total of 21 centres in Singapore – 17 belonging to Fitness First and four, to Celebrity Fitness.
The merger will bring their total stake in Asia to 152 outlets, including 46 in Indonesia and 35 in Thailand.
Although it is being discussed, there is currently no change in membership fees for either club, a spokesperson told AsiaOne.
An announcement regarding this will be made later when a decision is reached, the spokesperson added.
