SINGAPORE: A fire broke out at a shophouse in Little India on Monday (Nov 14).
According to the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), the fire at 7 Roberts Lane also “slightly affected” the shop’s neighbouring unit.
SCDF said they were alerted to the incident at 3.20pm. When they arrived, three people had self-evacuated from the unit. There were no reported injuries.

Using two water jets, SCDF extinguished the fire in about 30 minutes. A fire engine, three red rhinos and three support vehicles were dispatched to the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, SCDF added.
