Three former actresses, who all got their start in showbiz via Star Search, have remained close friends all these years.
46-year-old Constance Song held her first FB Live with 51-year-old former media star Cassandra See and 42-year-old Deborah Sim on her new Facebook page Constance’s MOMent on October 16.
The title of this information stream is “Yesterday Once More.” It is a catch-up meeting between three star search alumni to reminisce about the old days…Of course, it is also to promote Constance’s Facebook page.
Cassandra began to enter the show business after participating in Star Search in 1990, most famously for appearing in Mediacorp’s TV series, such as The Magnate, and The Unbeatables II and The Unbeatables III.
Deborah, like Constance, was a star-chaser alumnus in 1997, and has appeared in TV series such as Legend of the Eight Immortals, Stand By Me, Return of the Condor Heroes and so on.
Cassandra left the show business in the 2000s after marrying her German ex-husband who broke up in 2003. She is now married to a Korean man who works as a vice president in the hotel industry.
Deborah left New Media after his contract expired in 1999. She went overseas to pursue her career, then returned to Singapore and is said to be an oil broker now.
According to Constance, she started her own page to share her mother’s journey with other mummies. After all, Constance is now a mother of two children with two lovely daughters-Olycia, three and seven-month-old EL.
