It seems like a story straight out of an adorable romantic comedy: An elderly man goes all out to fulfill his wife’s wishes, and in doing so, becomes the Prince Charming of her dreams.
According to CCTV news, 81-year-old Zhang Yongsheng from Guangzhou, China wanted to fulfill his wife’s dream of taking fairytale wedding photos. As a result, the couple dressed themselves in costumes and posed as famous characters from romantic movies and television shows.
One of the photos shows Zhang’s wife posing as Cinderella and he as her prince, while another cheeky photo shows the elderly woman dressed as Snow White as she feeds her prince a burger.
The couple also posed as the leads of popular Korean drama, Descendants of the Sun, proving that they too are keeping up with Asia’s most romantic story of the year.
As expected, their lovey-dovey photos have since gone viral in China, with many netizens sending their best wishes and praising them for having a “real romance”.
We’re sure Yoo Shi-jin and Kang Mo Yeon would agree.
