A stunning double rainbow over the Singapore sky drew oohs and aahs as many were leaving their offices this evening.
The display of arching colours became an instant buzz on social media when people started posting photos of what they saw.
Blown away by the awesome sight, AsiaOne reader ‘Keith’, who was at Tan Boon Liat Building in Outram Road, gushed: “Right before me. The most perfect and full rainbow I’ve ever seen.”

Chancing upon a rainbow usually puts a smile on one’s face. But this evening’s phenomenon of a pair of rainbows has heightened the sense of wonder for many.
A secondary rainbow can appear as another arc above the main rainbow when it reflects the light from the latter at a slightly higher angle. Their colours appear in reverse order, with red on the bottom and violet on top, according to observers.
Anyway, a good reminder to ‘chase that rainbow’.
