SINGAPORE – A HDB flat at Block 117, Bedok North Road caught fire on Monday (May 16), causing debris to fall from a window.
Video footage of the incident that was sent by a reader to The Straits Times, shows debris falling from the 12th-storey flat.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told AsiaOne that it was alerted to the fire at 5.25pm. It added that the fire involved contents in the kitchen.
The SCDF also said that there were no reported injuries and that residents in nearby units were not evacuated.
Investigations are ongoing.
