SINGAPORE – Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices fell for all categories in the latest bidding exercise on Thursday (July 7).
Premiums had reached their highest level for the year in the previous exercise on June 22.
In the latest exercise, the Category A premium for cars up to 1,600cc and 130bhp fell from $55,200 to $52,301.
For Cat B – cars above 1,600cc or 130bhp – premiums dropped from $57,010 to $56,089.
The premium for Cat E, which can be used for any vehicle type but ends up mainly being used mostly for bigger cars, dropped from $57,390 to $56,002.
COE prices for motorcycles fell from $6,303 to $6,012, while premiums for goods vehicles and buses dropped from $48,002 to $47,889.
