COE prices end mostly higher in latest bidding exercise

SINGAPORE – Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices in the first round of bidding this month closed mostly higher today (June 8).

Only motorcycle premiums dropped marginally from $6,303 to $6,302.

Premiums for Category A – cars up to 1,600cc and 130bhp – went up from $47,020 to $53,694.

Premiums for Cat B – cars above 1,600cc or 130bhp – rose from $49,156 to $56,000, while those for Cat C – goods vehicles and buses – saw an increase from $43,002 to $46,434.

COE prices for the open Cat E – for any vehicle type but ends up mainly being used mostly for bigger cars – jumped from $49,700 to $55,100.
