PETALING JAYA – Xie Xingfang, the wife of Chinese badminton superstar Lin Dan, has given birth to a baby at the United Family Healthcare centre in Beijing, China.
Lin, in his Sina Weibo social media account, posted a picture of him with Xie and their newborn at 10.49am Saturday.
In his post, Lin said. “Welcome to the family. Fang Fang, you have had a long day”.
However, he did not mention if the baby was a boy or a girl.
The post has since generated more than 65,000 likes as of 1.15pm.
The 33-year-old Lin Dan married former badminton player Xie, 35, in 2012.
