SINGAPORE: Ten life-sized Pikachu will work their magic at Changi Airport on Friday (Nov 18).

“This festive season, Changi Airport will become the lair for the ultra-cute pocket monsters that have taken Singapore, and the world, by storm,” said Changi Airport Group (CAG) on Thursday.

Starring in their own parade, the Pokemon creatures will kick off the airport’s year-end festivities. A sneak peek of the mascot was uploaded on Changi Airport’s Facebook page.

This will be Singapore’s first-ever Pikachu parade, CAG said. One is held yearly in Japan’s Yokohama, with last year’s parade featuring more than 50 of the life-sized mascots.

If you want to catch ’em all, the Pikachu parade takes place on Friday at 10.30am and 7.30pm. The Pokemon will waddle from the Terminal 3 departure hall to Terminal 2 while greeting PokeTrainers.
