LOS ANGELES –

Reynolds was one of her most enduring and most charismatic Hollywood stars, nominated for Best Actress Academy Award in 1964 for The Unsinkable Molly Brown.

Carrie Fisher starred in the Star Wars movie, and later through drug addiction with her as a bestselling author about her story, died on Tuesday night at 60 years of heart disease on Friday Seizures (Dec 23).

After Fisher died, Reynolds said on Facebook: “Thank you everyone who embraced my beloved and amazing daughter for gifts and talents, and I thank you for your thoughts and prayers and now guide her to the next stop.

Reynolds was physically weak over the past year, and she missed dinner in November 2015 to get the Oscar honors. At that time, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences said she was unable to attend because of “a recent long-term recovery from surgery.” The nature of her illness was not disclosed. Fisher in May 2016 told reporters that her mother “doing very well”
