SINGAPORE – Polling day for the Bukit Batok Single Member Constituency (SMC) by-election will be on May 7.
The by-election was triggered by the resignation of Mr David Ong, following revelations that he had been involved in an alleged extra-marital affair.
The People’s Action Party’s Murali Pillai and Singapore Democratic Party secretary-general Chee Soon Juan have declared their intention to contest the single seat.
