At least three people have been injured from an explosion at an airport in Shanghai on Sunday (June 12), according to online reports.
According to Chinese state broadcaster CCTV, the incident occurred at about 2.42pm at Terminal 2 of the Shanghai Pudong International Airport.

The blast happened when suspected home-made explosives suddenly went off, the Shanghai Airport Authority said on their official Weibo page.
According to Sina News, there were a total of two explosions about five seconds apart that came from two pieces of luggage. The area where the blast occurred has been cordoned off by authorities.
Two people were reportedly badly hurt in the blast, while another sustained minor injuries. All three have been rushed to hospital.
