China has debuted another glass walkway – and it’s just as terrifying as all the others.

Called the ‘Sky Corridor’, the A-shaped walkway is located at the Wansheng Mountain Scenic Area, in the southwest Chongqing region.

According to CGTN news, the walkway, which protrudes 80m from a cliff, is modelled after the Grand Canyon Skywalk.

The walkway is also vying for the Guinesss Book of World Records’ title of the world’s longest cantilever bridge.

The record is currently held by the Yunduan glass observation deck and cantilever skywalk, also in Chongqing province.

Since opening on Saturday (April 1), thrill-seekers have flocked to the tourist attraction in droves, presumably so they can also brag about it on their social media accounts.

China is home to numerous glass bridges and skywalks, including the world’s longest and highest – the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon glass bridge, which was famously pulverised by sledgehammers and driven over by a two-tonne vehicle in a test of its sturdiness.
