Another courier who knew “Lao Chek” and wanted to be known as Mr Lek was shocked by accident.
The 56-year-old told The New Paper: “I was running my errands when I saw a truck dragging an e-biker along the road.
“I went to investigate and was shocked to see that the victim was my friend. From his badly injured body, I knew he didn’t survive the accident. I can’t believe Lao Chek is gone.”
Last month, two e-bikers were killed along West Coast Highway when a trailer hit them from behind, injuring a third.
