Actress Ruby Lin admits she's 3 months pregnant

Actress Ruby Lin has finally admitted that she is expecting a baby with new-husband Wallace Huo, with the child due early next year.

Taiwan entertainment site ET Today reported that the announcement was made at the after-party, following their glitzy wedding banquet held in Taipei on Tuesday (Aug 2).

According to the report, the actress revealed that she is three months pregnant, putting to bed rumours that have dogged the couple for the past month.

But did the announcement have anything to do with Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai’s slip-up earlier in the night?

Lin’s good pal had accidentally let the cat out of the bag during the banquet by wishing the couple: “May your baby be healthy”.

Realising her gaffe, Tsai awkwardly laughed as the host quickly chimed in, saying: “You can’t say that yet!”

According to Apple Daily, sources added that the pair will be living apart temporarily after the wedding to work on their individual acting projects.

The couple first exchanged their vows in a star-studded outdoor ceremony at a scenic resort in Bali last Sunday (July 31).

But speculations about her pregnancy surfaced weeks before, when Lin was spotted with a visible baby bump.

Excited netizens even discussed that the baby would be blessed to have the couple’s most attractive features – Huo’s eyelashes and Lin’s dimples.
