Who would have that the shape of a brinjal could be inspiration for a pillow?
Well, the guys behind the Aubergine Pillow do.
What is it? An inflatable pillow that plumps up in one puff and is still compact to be brought along with you wherever you go.
How do you use it? By puffing two inches away from the spout, the guys behind this pillow say it “initiates the Bernoulli effect, using the surrounding air to multiply the volume of your breath”.
Sounds interesing, and you don’t have to share saliva with anyone when attempting to plump up yours or their pillow.
The Aubergine Pillow claims that its “sensual contours and a well-placed dimple” help to “cradle your head and support your neck.”
It will eliminate the head lolling and bopping that comes with “on-the-go” napping, such as on buses or at your work desk especially after lunch.
The Aubergine Pillow is a collaborative effort of three industrial designers from Singapore, who clearly have a sense of humour.
The pillow is currently a Kickstarter campaign, and has reached 400 per cent of its funding goal.
