At the New York Fashion Week recently, US designer Jeremy Scott, known for his quirky designs and for using bright, bold colours, put on a delightful runway show.
The Spring 2017 Jeremy Scott show featured shiny crop tops and mini dresses as well as attention-grabbing graphic tees and pants.
Then there was a fitted dress that looked normal enough except for the fact that the model carried an over-sized sling bag the shape of a tube of toothpaste.
Scott has had outrageous designs before, many of which were created for Moschino (he’s the Italian brand’s creative director), and his collaborations with Adidas have resulted in some cute but peculiar-looking kicks (remember the teddy bear shoes?).
But this toothpaste bag – which has “Jeremy” emblazoned on the front – is perhaps his most bizarre creation yet.
The bag also comes as a clutch and opens at the top (or side if you’re looking at it like a tube of toothpaste) but what we would like to know is if the cap can be unscrewed …
Also, would you carry this bag? Those of us who take the public transport would probably have difficulty lugging it around during peak hours on the trains or buses!
